Son of a Boston music critic/writer, artist Khari Wynn began playing guitar at age fourteen after his father gave him a Jimi Hendrix record. After meeting Professor Griff through a mutual friend, he arrived in Atlanta where he cut the first live 7th Octave sessions. He added guitar player for Public Enemy to his resume during this time as well, followed by numerous dates and tours with as member of the backing unit, The BaNNed.

An influenced student of John Coltrane, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Gales, Ty Tabor, Grant Green, Charlie Parker, Curtis Mayfield, Buddy Guy, among illustrious others, Khari also jams across Memphis, Tennessee with his band Solstice. He's featured on the 7th Octave album, along with current and future PE albums, as well as innovative solo stints of his own with Solstice and Auditory Underground on SLAMjamz Records.
