NIC NAC

Nailahs Dalite - Nic Nac has paid the cost to be Hip Hop's next lady boss, and it's evident on her executive produced, independent release 'Kickin Azz Taken Names'. Nic Nac is equally at home over her native West Side gangsta Hip Hop, Southern crunk, or soul production sound. Nic Nac has steadily been on a mission to take her broad-based audience to a higher level with her irresistible blend of femme fatale charisma, fun-loving energy and in-your-face flows.

On her triumph-after-tragedy anthem 'Slidin In My Rover', Nac rhymes about the consequences of street life and being in a relationship with made men. Knowing the power of speech and the major influence music and lyrics have on youth, Nic Nac takes full responsibility for her rhymes. "Young girls don’t need to give up themselves to accumulate material wealth... Young men don’t have to a hustle on the streets to have cash." She explains. Nic Nac knows she’s reaching urban youth directly, and is more passionate than ever in her delivery of spoken documentaries from the streets, to the suites, over white-hot beats. Nic Nac earned her lyrical stripes in her native Oakland, California, further honing those skills on the stormy streets of South Central where her commanding voice, sharp tongue and sexy yet youthful tone caught on as an eventual career.

With 16 bars, she earned a platinum plaque by appearing on So Much Drama, the infamous B-side to 'I Got 5 On It'.Over the course of her quiet but consistent career, Nic Nac has toured with Ice-Cube, Too- short Scarface, Mary J. Blige, Truth Hurts, Pete Rock, Mr. Cheeks, Puff Daddy, and with the late Notorious B.I.G. "Easily the hottest female MC on the West coast" says Ed Lover Power 105 on-air personality and groundbreaking host of MTVs Yo! MTV Raps. Says Lover, "Not since Lyte and Shante have I heard an emcee dominate with such commercial appeal. Make no mistake, Nic Nac is what's next."
