This is a tale of a community that no longer can answer a call to protect itself from itself. The children of the black society have been neglected and pimped by media images, distorted cultural presentation, and a law that increasingly protects crime against them. Kyle Jason pleas and at the same time answers to this call with this beautifully written and sung ballad poem. Perhaps the President Obama euphoria will trickle down to the hood to make some of these so called adults accountable for their actions and thus truly protecting and saving the children.
